Summarize any webpage in Chrome, including the parts you have to scroll to
resolvenengine summarizes the webpage in your current Chrome tab from the side panel, and when the information is only visible on screen it can capture the whole page from top to bottom so nothing below the fold is missed.

What a good page summary needs
Most summarizer extensions send the visible text of a page to a model and return a few bullet points. That fails on the pages where summaries matter most: long reports, dashboards, pricing tables, documentation with collapsed sections and pages where the key number sits in an image or chart.
- It should read the page you are on, not reopen it in a new tab.
- It should cover the whole page, not only the first screen.
- It should say what it could not read instead of guessing.
- It should answer in the language you asked in.
How it works
- 1Open the page and the resolvenengine side panel.
- 2Ask: "Summarize this page", or something more precise such as "What are the three main risks in this report?"
- 3The assistant reads the current tab's content. It keeps working in that tab and does not open a random new one.
- 4When the answer depends on what is shown visually, it captures the page top to bottom and stitches the sections into one long image, while keeping the sharp sections for the model to read small details.
- 5You get the summary in your language, and you can ask follow-up questions about the same page.
Useful ways to ask
| Page | Request |
|---|---|
| Long article or report | Summarize in five bullets and list any numbers mentioned |
| Pricing page | Compare the plans in a table and note what the cheapest plan excludes |
| Terms of service | What does this say about cancellation and refunds? |
| Product documentation | Give me the setup steps only |
| Analytics dashboard | What changed compared with last week on this screen? |
Because the assistant also has connectors, the summary does not have to stay in the chat: with Notion connected you can ask it to save the summary to a page, subject to your approval policy.
Summarizing a page versus researching a topic
Summarizing is about the page in front of you. If you ask a broader question, such as the most important AI news this month, resolvenengine researches in the background, reads several sources and returns a cited answer without filling your tab strip. It opens a visible page only when interaction, a logged-in session or visual inspection is really needed.
Limits worth knowing
- Extremely long pages are captured within a size limit; the assistant tells you if a capture was shortened.
- Chrome does not allow extensions to read some pages, such as the Chrome Web Store and internal chrome:// pages.
- Content behind a login is readable only in your own logged-in tab, never on a server.
- Summary quality depends on the AI model you pick with your own key.
