Google Calendar integration
Ask about an interval, inspect an event, or prepare a new calendar event with clear permission boundaries.
The Google Calendar connector answers schedule questions with explicit calendars, date ranges and time zones. It can list calendars, find events between RFC 3339 boundaries, apply a text query, and read the full details of a selected event. This avoids ambiguous phrases such as tomorrow being interpreted without the account's intended time zone.
Event creation is intentionally limited to a title, start, end and optional description on a selected calendar. The current operation does not add attendees or advertise meeting invitations. Before a write, the assistant should establish the exact calendar, time-zone offset and end time, then show the proposed event under the chosen approval policy.
Use synthetic or your authorised account data, then review the returned result in the conversation.
“What is on my primary calendar tomorrow in my account time zone?”
“Find every event containing roadmap between Monday morning and Friday evening.”
“Read the selected event and summarise its description and timing.”
“Create a 30-minute focus block next Tuesday at 10:00 after I approve the calendar and timezone.”
Calendar enforces per-project and per-user request quotas in a sliding time window, plus operational limits for rapid writes to one calendar. The safe response to a quota error is backoff. Repeating event creation after an uncertain result could create duplicates, so a write must be verified before any retry.
